Working here at Motown Management was actually great! I met a ton of new friends. The CEO is actually pretty! They always dressed professionally! Coming in these doors actually makes my day a little easier as a person that struggles with depression it’s a very uplifting environment!

Motown Management is the parent company to Top 5 LLC. Top 5 Management is unprofessional, unorganized and unprepared to train employees much less manage a business. I was lied to about the position, I was lied to about the hours I’d be working in the position and I was lied to about when I’d be receiving my physical paycheck. 4 days after I didn’t receive the paycheck management texted me an unknown email address instructing me to send my bank account and routing number in order to have the money direct deposited. Lies and disrespect. They are nice to you because you’re making money for them. Cold.

Let me tell you what you'll actually be doing at motown (because it's not what you applied for!)

You spend 3 days in a large room being taught a script and how to manipulate people into giving you their energy bills. You will be driving wherever they want you (I drove over 70 miles in 3 days) to the "field", where you'll then knock on doors until 7-7:30 pm. You won't be reimbursed for your gas (they say they will). 6 days a week, from 9:30 am until 7:30 pm. Oh and you aren't paid hourly. Have fun.

Oh PS!! The 5 star reviews from the past 2-3 months are all from current employees; the boss at that locale (Roderick) did instruct all current employees to cover google in positive reviews lol. How do I know? They told me to do it too ☺
